I'm working on a hybrid workshop series, and I'm using the Messages feature to send reminders to participants, as well as instructions on how to join (via Zoom, as well as instructions for the physical location).
I really like the look and feel of the editor, but I have some suggestions to make it better.
Unfortunately, it seems like the Messages feature doesn't allow you to edit your message. You can only cancel the message (which remains in the "inbox"), and start all over. I would really appreciate the ability to edit a message to fix a typo, add extra instructions, or change the message settings to send it to myself.
Additionally, the current UI doesn't let me know who I set those messages to be sent to. Because I have 6 different ticket types, I wanted to double-check and make sure that I set the correct recipients for each of the 9+ messages I'm working on. Unfortunately, all I see is "To: Ticket holders" as the recipients, and because I can't edit the messages, I have no way of knowing.
Describe the solution you'd like
- Allowing to edit messages OR pause messages to edit them, rather than straight-up cancelling them
- Moving cancelled messages to a separate "Trash bin" tab, so that it doesn't clutter the "inbox"
- Displaying the custom recipients selected when viewing the message
- Reinstating cancelled messages
- Sorting messages by "last edited", but also by the datetime that they will be sent in
