Memory: Crucial CT2K16G56C46S5
Storage: Samsung 990 EVO MZ-V9S1T0B/AM
Port/Peripheral information
I should note that I do NOT have a GPU expansion attached (empty expansion bay shell).
Standalone Operation (Laptop Only)
Are you running your mainboard as a standalone device. Is standalone mode enabled in the BIOS?
Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
Since updating to the 3.06 BIOS I am seeing intermittent visual corruption - in particular, I have seen things like:
- what looks like a cluster of "dripping" corrupted pixels on the lock screen which persisted until login
- pink squares attached to a window which followed it around until the pink squares were pushed offscreen (and then they disappeared)
Steps To Reproduce
N/A, it happens sporadically. I think I mostly experience it when resuming from sleep or hibernation though (in fact, it might only be on resuming, but I can't say for sure).
Screenshots
If I remember to screenshot it next time, I will try (but I expect the act of screenshotting will make it disappear).
Operating System (please complete the following information):
Linux eabrnixos 7.0.3 #1-NixOS SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Thu Apr 30 09:13:05 UTC 2026 x86_64 GNU/Linux
