Steps to reproduce the bug

1. install the app
2. write a silly note
3. summon the widget
4. notice the bug : on the widget there is not the note text content

Expected behavior

Old behavior was the note widget was able to see the note content onto the widget (also I tried changing the note color : only the note backgroind is affected my text is absent)

Actual behavior

The issue is that I see no text on my note widget.

Additional information

For some reason I can't debug the issue on my device because the debug app refuses to install however the bug is not present if ran on android virtual device. Tested with the stock launcher

In my case, editing the note or changing the colors "fixes" it.

so editing the note by clicking the widget then editing the opened note show back the text. Not sure if it counts as a fix or need further fix. But at least I'm not stuck anymore.

I'm working on it. It definitely needs a better fix.

Still present for me in 1.6.0 Notes app. And sadly the mentioned fix doesn't work for me (GrapheneOS). I can't seem to make any text appear by editing, changing colours, removing and re-adding widget.

Did you try resizing the widget after editing the note?

Oh! That did work, thank you. And it repopulated both widgets.
