Too many plus signs

Feature description

At the moment there is a plus sign at the top to add new notes and, in the checklist view, a plus sign at the bottom to add new items. Then, if one taps the folder icon another window pops up with still another plus sign to add new notes (again). Finally, if the checklist is empty there is also the text ‘Add new checklist items’ to add new items (in addition to the plus sign at the bottom).

Maybe it is only me, but I constantly tap the top plus instead of the bottom one and viceversa.

I would suggest a couple of simplifications:

• Remove the ‘Add new checklist items’ text when the list is empty (the plus button at the bottom should be enough)
• Remove the plus sign at the top. To add a new item one could tap the folder icon and then the plus sign. As an alternative, remove the top plus sign and add the item ‘Add a new note’ in the three dots menu.

Why do you want this feature?

In my opinion, to have a simpler and clearer user interface
