Birch trees generated by Dynamic Trees appear to have transparent holes or missing textures where branches connect to the trunk and to other branches.
The issue is visible from multiple angles and allows the player to see directly through parts of the tree. Other tree species do not appear to have the same problem.
Expected behavior:
Birch branch and trunk textures should connect cleanly without visible gaps or transparent sections.
Steps to reproduce:
Find or grow a Dynamic Trees birch tree.
Look closely at the points where branches connect to the trunk.
Notice the transparent holes and missing faces shown in the attached screenshot.
Additional information:
Minecraft version: 1.21.1
Dynamic Trees version: 1.7.2 Beta
Mod loader and version: Fabric
Shader pack: Photon shaders (same issue without shaders)
Resource pack: none
This may be related to the birch branch model rather than the texture itself, since the gaps appear around branch intersections and many other branches.
