Item duplication bug from failed craft

Short description:

My network has been quite buggy lately, where crafts would fail to start and imported results wouldn't be seen by the craft. While items are stuck in the crafting interface, I can keep breaking and replacing the interface to make it drop its inventory continuously.

Steps to reproduce the problem:

I'm not sure how to recreate this, but it's obviously wrong. I have linked some videos of what I encountered.

It may have started after trying to put items directly into the oritech foundry and seems to have stopped after manually running a recipe in it.

Expected behaviour:

The duplication doesn't happen.

Unrelated question, is there some diagnostic tool I can use to check my network? I often have to break it and replace a cable + cancel crafts on logging in/crossing dimensions

I got the duplication again. It started right after a writer queued up a craft with an interface pointed at a chest. It seem that wiping the interface config via crafting and resetting the craft lets the next writer queued up craft through, but then hangs on waiting for the results (though that may be a different issue)
