it says my active input is blocked when vr is connected to my pc.

I think the status message should have a tooltip if you hover over it with your mouse cursor. I'm not at my PC so I might be thinking of something else.

you have to run as administrator thats what fixed it for me and if that doesnt work then a thing that happend to me bc of that was i was in the steam page on my vr and it blocked my active imput

Running as administrator should only be required once, if you put the application in Program Files or another restricted area, this as it tries to create new folders where it resides. In theory anyway. I've never had to run it as admin myself, but I have it outside of those restricted areas on the disk.
